As a piano & voice teacher with 6 years experience, I made the decision to start my own studio in May 2020. I have a love and enthusiasm for teaching, and I love to develop my professional skills in order to provide high quality instruction.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Freed-Hardeman University and a Master’s degree in Education from Missouri State University. I have a total of 10 years experience teaching a combination of private piano & voice lessons and K-12 music.
In addition to teaching, I also have experience in piano accompaniment, both for soloists and musicals. I was music director and accompanist for musicals such as Beauty and the Beast, Wizard of Oz. I also have background in accompanying collegiate vocal students and a university choral group.
I am a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and am currently the treasurer for the Rockwall Music Teachers Association (RMTA).
I now have my own home piano & voice studio based out of Rockwall, TX.
